Junie

IMG_7278.jpg

Junie is one of the cats rescued from the LA fire area in January 2025. Junie is an 12- 15  yr.-old female tabby. She’s blind, deaf and suffers from thyroid disease.

Junie and her mom rushed to leave their home in Altadena. Junie, being blind and scared, escaped from her mom’s arms and wandered towards a small fire. Her nose, face and ears were singed before her mom could recover her. Junie’s mom took her to an LA County Animal Shelter as an evacuation location for pets. They treated her injuries and settled her in. Junie’s mom realized that she would not be able to keep her as the friends she would be staying with long-term did not want Junie in their home. She made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her.

Junie is a sweet, loving senior. She loves head pats and chin scratches.  She needs a very SPECIAL home where she can be the only cat and learn to navigate easily without her sight.

Belle

Belle is one of the cats rescued from the LA fire area in January 2025. Belle is an 8 yr.-old female Tuxedo. She’s has no teeth, has limited vision and hearing and suffers from Cerebellar Hypoplasia- or more commonly known as "the wobbles".

Belle is a big cuddle bug and wants nothing more than to be in your lap or by your side. Despite Belle's wobbly gait, she is full of love and personality.  Belle thrives on companionship with her human. Belle would be happiest in a home that is ready to give her the attention she loves.

Gosha

Gosha is a purebred Russian Donskoy Cat (no relation to the Sphynx). Gosha (or Go-Go) is 8 yrs-old, neutered and fully vaccinated.

He requires an owner who is familiar with the breed. He needs daily ear and skin care, including sponge baths and weekly baths. He should not be left alone for long periods of time. He is temperature sensitive, so appropriate clothing is recommended. He does not like clothing with “sleeves” and will pretend his leg is injured when wearing sleeved clothing.

His ideal owner would be retired or available to commit the time needed to be with Gosha. He is leash and harness trained and enjoys going on outings with his fosters. He is negative for HCM, but may suffer from dental disease as he ages.  Gosha is very affectionate, vocal and playful. He gets along well with dogs and children, but not other cats. It is recommend that he be the only cat in the household.

Snow

Snow is one of the cats rescued from the LA fire area in January 2025 She is a quite, shy one year-old female.

She would do well in a home with no children or dogs. She's slow to warm up, but once she does, she'll blossom for the right person. We recommend that Snow be in a home where she can have the freedom to move at her own pace. A single person or couple would be her ideal forever family. â€‹

Reese

Reese is an independent girl who likes to do things her way. She gets along wit dogs, but may or may not be fine around other cats.

She would do well in a home with one other pet. She likes to take her time to get to know you and will eventually welcome you into her space. Reese is the perfect cat for busy fur  parents, as she doesn't mind spending time alone. â€‹
